Non Discrimination Policy
OCJ Kids is an Equal Opportunity Employer and works under and supports all Federal and Arizona statutes. OCJ KIDS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability/medical condition, or any other bias.
OCJ Kids complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training. The policies and principles of EEO also apply to the selection and treatment of independent contractors, personnel working on our premises who are employed by temporary agencies and any other persons or firms doing business for or with OCJ KIDS.
OCJ Kids administers its EEO policy fairly and consistently by:
- Advertising for job openings with the statement “An Equal Opportunity Employer.”
- Forbidding retaliation against any individual who files a charge of discrimination, opposes a practice believed to be unlawful discrimination, reports harassment, or assists, testifies or participates in an EEO agency proceeding.
- Requiring employees to report to a member of management or the Chairman of the Board of Directors any apparent discrimination or harassment. The report should be made within 48 hours of the incident.
OCJ Kids will not discriminate against applicants and employees based on a disability.
OCJ Kids will follow the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to address those situations where permanent medical conditions or disabilities may prohibit an individual from performing their essential job duties without reasonable accommodations. Reasonable accommodations are those that do not cause undue hardship to the Agency or would fundamentally alter the nature or operations of the business.
