Contribute to one of our yearly events!Every day, youth in society are exposed to unhealthy and unstable futures. OCJ Kids mission is to equip foster and at-risk children and youth by providing them tools, resources, and positive role models to succeed and excel in every area of life. These events impact these kids’ futures.
2023 Events
Adulting Summit
This summer event is designed for foster teens ages 14- 18 to garner the life stills and resources they will need to succeed in the working world as they prepare to age out of the system.
April 6th 2024
- $20 – Provides a student with Resources and workshops for the day and lunch
- $50 – Provide a full day of activities and incentives
*If funding requirements for Adulting Summit are fully met, it is OCJ Kids' policy to apply those funds to similar projects
Event Day Volunteer
Resume Mentor:
work with 1 to 2 teens at a time, helping them fill out their resume.
Mock Interview Assessor:
interviewing teens to give them experience and feed back to help them succeed at job interviews.

Vendor Table
We are looking for partners to set up a booth at the fair to introduce the attendees to possible resources and career path choices.

Summer Enrichment Program
May 29 through July 17, 2024
- $5 - Provide one experiment for one child.
- $60 - Sponsor one child for the whole summer.
- Volunteer - One session, one day, every Wednesday.
Bearizona
This summer event is designed for one group home per day to take their kids to Bearizona.
The kids and staff get to drive through the wildlife park, eat lunch and walk through the zoo portion.
